"Highly recommend"
It works well to copy curved or odd shapped items. I used it to copy the interior fender curves for a jeep wrangler trunk /bulkhead I am making. The depth of the templating fingers are a little shallow and won't follow highly angled parts unless used on a bias. The fingers do deflect a bit when used on highly curved parts, but it still is much easier than cardboard trail-and-error templating. I would recommend.

Product will do exactly as expected. I am installing vinyl flooring in my basement and am planning on using this to mark all of the odd cuts on the flooring prior to cutting such as the columns. This contour gauge well built and the lock feature works well.
